Big Hank Lionhart and The R&B Toasters with the Butterhorns

This 7-piece horn driven band have been around since 1984! They were a mainstay band in the Vancouver Rhythm & Blues scene for over 15 years… They opened shows for John Mayall, the Neville Brothers and Koko Taylor to name a few. They continue to fill dance floors and wow people with their upbeat brand of R & B.

Fronted by the lion-voiced Hank Lionhart (of the infamous Uncle Wiggly’s Hot Shoes Blues Band) and powered by a dynamic horn and rhythm section, these guys are guaranteed to bounce the audience out of their seats and onto the dance floor.

The Upstairs Lounge is a licensed restaurant and bar, doors open at 6 pm for dinner service, the band starts playing at 7:30 pm.
